E- United Group, to which ISU is affiliated, real estate & leisure development, including Yieh Phui Enterprise Co., Ltd. and Yieh United Steel Corporation, E-DA Hospital, Kaohsiung Morriott Hotel, E-DA World and etc. 

With the generous financial support from E-United Group, the University has equipments and facilities that are unparalleled among other universities in Taiwan. Also, the University is one of the few comprehensive universities that integrate theory into practice, and are cognizant of and responsive to the needs of industries.

In addition to collaboration with affiliated companies of E-United Group, the University also actively seeks opportunities to work with other business entities for internship programs. By so doing, students are provided with more hands-on experience to work in different sectors. 

There are some 600 business entities working with the University in the form of industry-university collaboration, including industries of technology, electronics, medical services, iron & steel, hospitality, department stores, and hotels. The University aspires to meet the needs of different industries, cultivate professional talents, and carry out university-specific research projects.

With the support of E-United Group, ISU provides substantial offers to recruit faculty members with research specialties and practical experiences from different disciplines and professions. 

With the Artificial Intelligence-driven curriculum designs, ISU underlines the importance of equipping students with computing foundations for their future career opportunities. Thus, faculty members are encouraged to engage students in not only tapping into interdisciplinary studies, but also researching the cutting-edged points in their respective fields.

In order to extend students’ international perspectives and transform the campus into an international one, ISU established the lnternational College in 2009 to cultivate promising young talents in international affairs in an all-English environment. 

The lnternational College has four departments, including the Department of lnternational Business Administration, the Department of lnternational Finance, the Department of lnternational Tourism and Hospitality, and the Department of International Media and Entertainment Management. 

AII of the required/elective professional courses are taught in English. The lnternational College also offers students credit courses or dual-degree programs in sister universities overseas.

By collecting and archiving a variety of library resources which the faculty & staff members and students need, establishing a library resource search platform and a collection of digital resources, providing various library services, organizing activities to promote reading and enhancing the exchange and cooperation with respective public libraries and university libraries, ISU aims to establish a cultural environment equipped with abundant library resources and facilities. Recently, the University’s Office of Library and lnformation Services strives to promote digital learning, preserve the library collections, conduct knowledge exchange with neighborhood communities, promote the use of library resources and improve the cultural value on campus and the communities as well.

ISU also provides wireless internet access across the entire campus in order to fulfill the needs of faculty, staff members and students to access information services thereby establishing a mobile-learning friendly environment. In addition to expanding the laboratories across departments school-wide, ISU has established 107 important laboratories, including Multimedia Center, Display Lab, Electronic Packaging Lab, Metal Materials Development Center, Expensive lnstrument Center and Biomedical Engineering Research Center, to create for students a nurturing learning environment.
