Kui Lja Vavulengan, an ISU freshman student of the School of Medicine, was awarded two literary awards, 1st place in the new poetry group and 2nd in the prose group, by the VUSAM Literary Awards held by the Indigenous Culture and Education Association of Pingtung County. He said that he loves not only literature but also medicine and looks forward to dedicating himself to residents in the Orchid Island.
