Faculty members and students from the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Department of Creative Product Design collaborated across disciplines to create a homemade infrared temperature screening device at a low cost. Compared with an existing infrared temperature screening device, the new one not only checks the temperature but takes a picture to issue a warning.
