Dr. Chih-Yu Wang, a professor of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, has dedicated himself to the research and development of laser acupuncture apparatus and the modernization of Chinese medical equipment. With his interdisciplinary specialties in biomedicine and electro-optical engineering, the development of the 3rd generation of the laser acupuncture apparatus was awarded by the Ministry of Science and Technology for excellent performance on industry-university collaboration.

Users can give themselves simple treatment through the 3rd generation of the laser acupuncture apparatus developed by Dr. Wang.
