Dr. Jung-Ching Wu of the Department of Electrical Engineering and his students were awarded a gold medal at the Innovative Energy-saving Motor Product Competition held by the Pingtung County Government with a water dispenser installed with a heat pump system, which can save up to 14% of energy consumption when compared with regular water dispensers.
