ISU Faculty Members and Students Win Award with AIoT Invention

Department Chair Chi-Chang Chen and Assistant Professor Guan-Hsiung Liaw created a scarecrow with AI and IoT technology together with students. Their invention not only helped farmers in Shinyuan Township of Pingtung County frighten birds away and increase agricultural productivity but also won the Potential Award from a competition held by MediaTek Inc.
