E-NEWS LETTER

The Department of Applied Japanese under the College of Language Arts held the Japanese Culture Festival in the Japanese Culture Classroom. Students who have a penchant for the Japanese culture can wear yukata and learn the Japanese tea ceremony, Hanafuda, and the Kansai dialect. To make this event more colorful, students of the Department performed Enka in kimono while Professor Yi-Che Chung was invited to demonstrate the Urasenke-style tea ceremony.

Students of the Department of Applied Japanese presented traditional Japanese songs and dances to get the annual Japanese Culture Festival started.
