Students of the Bachelor’s Degree Program for Indigenous Peoples in Communication and Design won the gold award at the 7th MATA Award with a non-documentary film adapting the Dahun Event, where the Bunun people fought against Japanese policemen. Another film “Sino Ngaran Mo,” documenting the gradually-disappearing cultural landscape in Orchid Island, won the bronze award.
