To treat the fracture of the vertebral body to prevent collapse, an expandable intravertebral implant is put in a patient’s body. However, there are some postoperative problems. To solve these problems, Assistant Professor Pao-Hsin Liu of the Department of Biomedical Engineering collaborated with the Department of Orthopedics of E-Da Hospital, looking forward to developing an expandable intravertebral implant with better biomechanical effects.
