ISU International Professor Naturalized as a Taiwan Citizen

Professor Peter OBrien has dedicated himself to Taiwan’s higher education for ten years since he moved from Australia. Having been fascinated by Taiwan, he decided to become a naturalized Taiwan citizen. With the help offered by the Household Registration Office of Dashu District in Kaohsiung City, he finally received his national identification card one day before his 75th birthday. He said that there is no greater gift than this.

Professor Peter OBrien (left) has worked with Dean Peng of the International College for many years, establishing a close rapport with each other.
