ISU has been ranked as one of the best universities by the Times Higher Education for three successive years and was recognized as one of the best university in the world by Round University Ranking in 2017 this January. In addition, Dr. Roger C. Y. Chen took over the presidency of ISU and proposed the ISU 2028 Project, in the hopes of nurturing specialists demanded by the society in the future.
