Having established for 28 years, ISU is one of the outstanding private comprehensive universities in southern Taiwan. Since 2016, ISU has been included in the World University Rankings, the Asia University Rankings, the Emerging Economies University Rankings, and the Young University Rankings, as announced by the Times Higher Education this year. In addition, ISU also entered the World University Rankings in 2018 released by the Round University Ranking (RUR).
