Due to the total recruitment quota control policy in Taiwan, it took ISU 13 years to win the approval for the establishment of the College of Medicine, and the School of Medicine for International Students can only recruit international students. Fortunately, ISU was officially approved this year to establish another School of Medicine to recruit 30 domestic state-financed students, including 20 students from remote areas, offshore islands, and indigenous tribes.
ISU is about to recruit 30 state-financed students to study at the School of Medicine from 2019.
