The 2nd sports event for indigenous peoples was held by ISU, and students from National Cheng Kung University, National Pingtung University, and National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism were invited to compete with one another in track and field and traditional sports. The intimate relationship between indigenous students from different universities impressed students from mainland China.
Traditional sports, such as archery, were included in the sports event for indigenous peoples held by ISU.
