To gain hands-on experience and experience a different teaching environment, Fu-Yu Yang, a student of the Department of Applied English, took part in the study abroad program sponsored by the Ministry of Education during the summer vacation of her junior year, heading to the Philippines to teach Chinese at Bacolod. In the future, she plans to get her master’s degree in Malaysia.
