Parallel parking is very challenging not only to novice drivers but also to robots. Students of the Department of Electronic Engineering outshone other competitors at the 2018 Maker and Robot Competition and took top three places for the category of intelligent auto-parking. The robot designed by them can park the car quickly and without any mistakes.

The team consisting of faculty members and students of the Department of Electronic Engineering, including (from left) Dr. Chih-Liang Chen, Wei-Jen Lin, Po-Hsuan Chang, Yu-Chien Cheng, Yu-Chu Ting, Cheng-Wei Huang, and Dr. Shui-Hsiang Su, the Chair of the Department of Electronic Engineering, took top three places.
