What’s on an application to I-Shou University? Below, we’ve laid out all of the questions on the application so that you know what to expect when you go to fill it out online. Items with an asterisk are required. The application form saves your progress, so don’t worry about completing it in one sitting!

Submit your application through the system

All application need to start with the admission system. Applicants will need to:

  1. Choose the appropriate program for you.
  2. Access to ISU Admission System.
  3. Complete and submit all the required documents the application.

Application Review

Recruitment Representative will review the application to confirm that applicants meet all the requirements. Recruitment Representative will contact applicant via email if additional documents are needed.

Application Result

Applicants will receive an e-mail informing them that the application has successfully passed the admission review.

Visa Application

After being admitted and receiving the hard-copy admission documents from the school, applicants must follow the regulations of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in their home country, as well as any other relevant laws and requirements set by their government, to ensure they can obtain a visa before traveling to Taiwan.

Once an applicant receives their visa, they can inform the Recruitment Representative. The representative will help set up a communication channel with an International Student Representative at ISU and arrange free airport pick-up

Requirements

Graduate Diploma Requirements:

– Open to students 18 years and over at course commencement

– For English-taught program: If English is not your first language, you will need to demonstrate English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each band and 6.0 in speaking.

– For Chinese-taught program: The required level of Chinese proficiency depends on each department’s standards. Most programs require at least a B1 level or higher. Please refer to the department’s website for specific details

– Applicants not meeting the entry criteria may be considered on a case by case basis by the Academic Director. Consideration will be given to those with appropriate and evidenced previous academic history, prior work experience and life skills experience.
