Supporting Students Through Merit-Based Financial Aid

ISU International Student Scholarships

I-Shou University is committed to attracting outstanding international students to join our vibrant academic community. Our scholarship programs are designed to reward academic excellence, encourage active participation in campus life, and support students throughout their studies in Taiwan.

The International Student Scholarship is funded through government grants and the University’s own budget. The program provides financial support for eligible bachelor’s and master’s students and is awarded based on academic merit, conduct, and overall performance.

Types of Scholarships

1. Scholarships for New International Students

Newly admitted international students may receive a scholarship package valued up to:

  • Full tuition and required fees for the first academic year

  • NT$20,000 on-campus accommodation subsidy

Awards are granted after evaluation by the Scholarship Committee and are distributed evenly across the first two semesters.

2. Scholarships for Continuing Students

Continuing international students who did not receive the award at admission may apply after one academic year of study.

Eligible students may receive:

The exact amount is determined by academic merit, conduct, and overall performance, the Committee’s review.
