The opening ceremony officially began at 2 p.m. on May 12. The program included presentations by college representatives on the themes of their exhibits, a launch ceremony, a group photo, and a guided tour of the exhibition. The atmosphere was both grand and vibrant. In his remarks, President Guu emphasized that authentic learning goes beyond the absorption of knowledge; it lies in the cultivation of abilities and the validation of practice. Reflecting on the university’s 35-year journey, he reaffirmed ISU’s unwavering commitment to professionalism and innovation and actively promoted interdisciplinary integration and global engagement. He noted that the exhibition perfectly embodies the spirit of ISU’s educational philosophy: “Learn at ISU, master your profession.” Mr. Shi-Chang Zhang, President of the ISU Alumni Association, also attended the event. The College of Management adopted “Creativity & Intelligence & Sustainability” as its core exhibition theme. Located on the 1st and 3rd floors of the Teaching Building, the display featured student-led business planning projects and hands-on work in beverage arts and culinary aesthetics, conveying ideas rooted in innovation, smart thinking, and sustainability. The College of Communication and Design presented a hybrid of static and interactive displays under the theme “Draw Your Attitude, Capture Your Ideas,” which featured visual storytelling, multimedia production, and creative design works.
