ISU Named an NVIDIA Partner by Jensen Huang for the Second Consecutive Year
On May 19, ISU proudly hosted the “COMPUTEX 2025 Jensen Huang Keynote Watch Party.” As the only international comprehensive university in southern Taiwan selected to host this event, ISU was also honored to be named by Jensen Huang, the “Godfather of AI,” as one of NVIDIA’s official partner universities.
ISU Showcase Academic Innovation and Practical Strength at the 35th Anniversary Celebration and Cross-College Joint Exhibition
On May 12, ISU held the grand opening ceremony of the 35th Anniversary Celebration and Cross-College Joint Exhibition at the AI Innovation Center (AIC) on the 5th floor of the Science and Technology Building. Centered around the theme “Interdisciplinary Co-Creation & Smart Future,” the exhibition showcased the university’s ongoing progress and breakthroughs in teaching innovation, industry-university collaboration, and hands-on application. The event was an interdisciplinary academic gathering that brought together experts from technology, the humanities, healthcare, and international perspectives
ISU 2025 Commencement Celebrates Students Stepping into a New Chapter with Confidence and Expertise
ISU held its grand commencement ceremony on June 7, 2025, bringing together graduates from all colleges to celebrate a major milestone in their academic journey. Surrounded by family, friends, and faculty, students marked the completion of their university life, a meaningful conclusion that also signaled the beginning of a new chapter, whether in their professional careers or further studies. Guided by the educational philosophy of “Learn at ISU, master your profession,” ISU remains dedicated to equipping students with a strong foundation of knowledge and practical skills. ISU hopes that every graduate will embark on their next journey with confidence, purpose, and a bright future.
ISU Accounting Students Evolve into Sought-After ESG Advisors
On June 30, in celebration of Accountants’ Day, the faculty members and students of the Department of Accounting extended their highest respect to all professional accountants. As one of the most prominent training grounds for accounting talent in southern Taiwan, the Department has, since its founding, helped over 80 students become certified accountants and more than 200 obtain bookkeeping licenses. Its alumni can now be found working at the Big Four accounting firms, publicly listed companies, government agencies, and financial institutions, earning the Department a strong reputation in the industry for producing highly competent professionals.
