The faculty members and students of ISU warmly welcomed the distinguished guests, guiding them through the university’s state-of-the-art educational facilities. The visitors expressed high praise for ISU’s achievements in internationalization and its teaching and research resources.

Universitas Brawijaya, located in Malang, East Java, Indonesia, was named by Indonesia’s first president, Sukarno. As one of Indonesia’s most prestigious public universities, it is ranked 49th in Asia’s university rankings. President Kuu expressed that ISU has always emphasized innovative research in the fields of health sciences and smart technology, earning widespread recognition for its international collaboration efforts. He stated that it is an honor to establish a partnership with such a distinguished Indonesian university and looks forward to deeper and more substantive exchanges in academic research and higher education between the two institutions in the future.

During the visit, faculty members from ISU guided the Universitas Brawijaya delegation through several high-tech educational facilities, including the AI Innovation Center, the Semiconductor Advanced Process Virtual and Actual Areas, the AI Supercomputer Lab, and the New Media Learning and Creation Center, which serves as a hub for aspiring livestream influencers. The delegation toured the training and teaching center and the Intelligent Medical Teaching Center at the Medical Campus, the largest in southern Taiwan, and E-Da Hospital, part of the university’s affiliated healthcare network. The delegation was also invited to the ISU Cooking Studio & Library, a unique educational space where they enjoyed halal cuisine prepared by students and faculty members from the Department of Culinary Arts and Gastronomy. The experience left the delegation deeply impressed by ISU’s dedication to internationalization and its rich teaching and research resources.

During this exchange, ISU arranged for Indonesian students from its Post-Baccalaureate 2-year Bachelor’s Degree Program in Equipment Engineering to interact with students from Universitas Brawijaya. In addition to academic discussions, Indonesian bachelor’s degree graduates will also have the opportunity to enroll in ISU’s new specialized program launched by the government to attract outstanding international talent, further enhancing collaboration and exchange with Taiwanese industries. ISU has achieved significant success in fostering international collaboration, with academic partnerships established with nearly 375 universities across five continents. By leveraging international resources to organize exchange activities, the university provides its students with abundant opportunities for overseas interaction, paving the way for them to step confidently onto the global stage.
